Colour me Leaving |

As I bid a fond farewell to Saltbush Castle, I reflected upon the many happy days there; and poignant hours. Through the sad days of mum's passing the Royal Family have been so supportive and caring. Allowing me to plunder the pantry and 2nd fridge ad-infinitum, and at any hour. I do think however that the media towers to import the football images detract somewhat from the general ambiance of the Castle. See Image above
HRH with her own hands produced comfort food and tasty delights, good conversation and moments to laugh over. We watched a movie (see poster) and laughed and laughed.
I especially appreciated the King Consort's enthusiasm and speculations re the departure of 'Sally' from Home & Away and the shock news of Colleen's long unknown relatives. We guessed WHO was washed up and have our theories of how that has happened.
From his days as a commoner, the KC has great hardware shop skills and packing skills which I am grateful for. Handles a tape gun in a way that would make Clint Eastwood proud.
The Princess discovered (I think) that reading a book, especially next to me, actually was not as bad as she thought. Of course this doesn't mean she is rushing out to join Doubleday or a local book club, however at an hour on the PC per chapter (How smart is HRH?) that net time is clocking up...all the while sounds of interest and fascination are revealing an interest in the book. But don't tell her I noticed!!!
Friendship knows now bounds.
Nor does love - I am so thrilled that HRH has found her King and that he has found her. They are people with remarkable abilities and I know that love causes miracles - especially in the delicate task of creating a new family.
And sorry Mr King but I think a sign would be great; after all, a man's home is his castle!!
