Comings & Goings

The MI Ts have gone on a road trip to Colorado. The G Family will be back downunder soon. Jarrah Kim arived safely. I'm heading North soon

Things I have learnt: I am not great in the cold. Chocolate is lethal for me. Pedicures/Manicures are really essentials! Ditto good haircuts.

Dressed for business today, I set off to several places of business. Conducted interviews and made selctions. Did all the paperwork and was pleased with the end result.

However...grrr I find I have left the folder with everything in it somewhere -

My short term memory loss, in these days of grief is proving challenging.

I have narrowed down my search to 2 places and hope to safely retrieve all tomorrow.

I must get a good nights sleep, for tomorow I babysit x3.

A grey rainy day, and cold. Not worth getting out of the PJs so I didn't.

storms and flooding on the sunshine coast and spreading south over the weekend.

Hope the weather is better for The Wedding tomorrow.

Tonights movie...

I watched this movie today. Also made several digi scrap booking pages,

however I am not on my computer so you will have to wait.

Tonights movie is: In German with subtitles.

Today around lunch time 'The Chef' and TNG 1, 2 & 4 came to sleep over.

For a treat we had pizza for dinner:
the closest to 'Chadstone' Pizza we have had
in over 16 years.

TNG 1&2 had fun drawing on
the smoothed out wrapping papers
used for The Orthopod's move East.

They made an apparently yummy choc slice,
with their mum, the Chef. I don't actually know
the slice is yummy
as apparently I am allergic (or something)
to cocoa has I get worst hangovers,
I don't know what else to call
the response the next day....so no more chokkie
for me!!!

It's been a busy day with an early start -
and tomorrow we are setting off early
to a local Farmer's Market - so an early night.

Waiting waiting - the view about 10 minutes before The Orthopod & Le Chat Noir arrived,
driven by one of the Eight Characters.
The Senior one I guess.

We went for a drive through the area....and my house finding skills were marked highly.
We even looked at where I thought we
would not have liked to be.

Out of the blue came a phone call from a dear friend...
she lives just minutes from here.
We invited her over -
and encouraged her to bring a chair, which she did.
It was great to catch up.

Something weird in the garden - caught The Orthopod's eye. What is it?

Le Chat Noir has settled in very well and has taken the liberty
of snoozing on my bed, twice already.
