Quote of the Day.'The advice of Jonathan Alpert, a Manhattan-based psychotherapist. "If you view travel as an adventure and a challenge -- including the long lines and delays -- then it can be fun," he says. His advice is to build in enough time to experience this adventure -- a cushion of time, "just in case there are delays." Avoid tight schedules and deadlines. After all, you're on vacation.
Comings & Goings
The MI Ts have gone on a road trip to Colorado. The G Family will be back downunder soon. Jarrah Kim arived safely. I'm heading North soon
It's been a busy day with an early start - and tomorrow we are setting off early to a local Farmer's Market - so an early night.
Waiting waiting - the view about 10 minutes before The Orthopod & Le Chat Noir arrived, driven by one of the Eight Characters. The Senior one I guess.
We went for a drive through the area....and my house finding skills were marked highly. We even looked at where I thought we would not have liked to be.
Out of the blue came a phone call from a dear friend... she lives just minutes from here. We invited her over - and encouraged her to bring a chair, which she did. It was great to catch up.
Something weird in the garden - caught The Orthopod's eye. What is it?
Le Chat Noir has settled in very well and has taken the liberty of snoozing on my bed, twice already.
