...not on my own of course, I couldn't do it. I had the delight of working with my daughter....again. There were cheese platters, and crackers with dips, to tempt the guests as they arrived.
Then.....
2 types of soup:pumkin garnished with cream swirl and fine chopped parsley. also creamed corn & tuna,oops it was chicken! (well, you know what they say) garnished with chives and cracked black pepper.
A few guests came and pitched in at serving time. The extra hands mean the food was to the tables nice and hot.
Chicken breast roasted with fresh whole Garlic, Sage & Thyme or roast lamb with mint sauce both served with roast (baked) potato, pumpkin, cauliflower with white sauce and green peas. Gravy.
The Wedding cake was an unusual tier cup cake arrangement. Light sponge with chocolate icing and a celtic heart design. choc (milk & white) dipped strawberries (fat & luscious) whipped cream
totally delicious
then there were the dishes, pots pans and cutlery to wash up. Thankgoodness for the industrial dishwasher.
